The Flu clinics are slightly different this year because different age groups are been given different flu vaccines.
There is currently a national shortage of Flu vaccines for the over 65's. This means about 140 vaccines will be delivered on 23rd October and about 280 will be delivered on 13th November.
It is very important to attend the correct clinic as this year we will have to use 3 different vaccines and they will be delivered in stages (so we may not have the correct vaccine in stock if you come on the wrong date).
Therefore, please come to the right drop in clinic:
Saturday 17th November 8.15 am -11 am - All Age groups
Wednesday 28th November 3- 5 pm All Age groups
More dates will be added soon

New Appointment System from 29th January 2018
On the 29th January 2018, the Health Centre introduced a Telephone Triage Appointment System, in which all patients’ requests for a face consultation with a doctor will be triaged by a GP.
This means that patients will receive a phone call from the doctor within a few hours of making contact with the Health Centre, and, if mutually agreed, patients will be seen face to face within the same day (or another day, to be mutually agreed).
Improving Access to General Practice
On the 7th July 2017, the government published the results of the GP patient survey - patients’ feedback in every surgery and in the county only 2 practices scored 99%. Berinsfield Health Centre was one of them. The data was collected between Jan- March 2017 and the data can be found at
Named GP for all Patients
In order to comply with NHS guidelines, all patients registered at the Berinsfield Health Centre are allocated a named GP.
Due to Dr Claudia Jones’ retirement on 28th July 2017, all of her patients are being proportionally allocated to the Berinsfield Health Centre’s remaining GPs If you would like to know who you have been allocated to please call reception.
This does not affect the care you receive and you are still able to see the GP of your choice where possible.
If you would like to know the name of your Named GP please ask at the Reception desk.
All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.
The average pay for GPs working in Berinsfield Health Centre in the last financial year was £53,380 before tax and National Insurance.
This is for 1 full time GP and 5 part time GPs who worked in the practice for more than six months.”
